Norma L. Reagan | Visit Guest Book Norma L. Reagan 1940 - 2008 BENNINGTON Norma L. Reagan, 67, of Union Street died peacefully at her home on Thursday afternoon, July 10, 2008, following a brief illness. She was in the loving comfort of her family. Born in Bennington on Dec. 25, 1940, daughter of the late Noyce and Lydia Callahan Bump, she received her education in area schools. She was a stay-at-home mom, caring and nurturing eight children. She had worked briefly at the Bennington Brush Company, Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and Hathaway's Drive- In. Norma enjoyed collecting antiques and dolls, going to tag-sales, gambling and visiting the casinos. However, her home and family were most important to her. She loved children, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed the company of all who came to visit. Norma was married to George P. Reagan in Cambridge, N.Y., on Oct. 5,1957, Besides her husband of 50 years, she leaves two sons, Paul A. Reagan of Bennington and Phillip J. Reagan of Statesville, S.C.; five daughters, Polly A. Perrotta, Kelly L. Brown and Amanda L. Reagan, all of Bennington, Kathryn J. Yeager of Arkansas, and Shanda M. Bodenstab of Shaftsbury; her granddaughter whom she raised, Alisha Hayes of Bennington, 17 grandchildren, and her great -grandchildren, Amaya, Alexis and Christopher. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia J. Reagan in 1996; by brothers, Leonard and Lawrence Bump and by a sister, Patricia Howard. FUNERAL NOTICE: At Norma's request, there will be no services held.
