Jack Briley Liles, 70, of Lake Charles, passed away on Nov. 25, 2015, in his residence.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 with visitation from 12-4 PM with service beginning at 4 PM at Lakeside Funeral Home, 340 East Prien Lake Rd., Lake Charles, LA 70601. Rev. Steve Bennett of Moss Bluff First Baptist Church will be officiating. The family will hold a private burial service at a later date.

Mr. Liles was born on Sept. 1,1945. He graduated from Marion High and continued on to receive a Masters Degree in Education from McNeese State University. Jack retired after 30 years of teaching, and then pursued his love for landscaping. In his younger years, he enjoyed the music ministry and sharing the Word of God. He always maintained a positive outlook on life, with a cheerful smile and word of encouragement for all who crossed his path.

Mr. Liles was a loving father and grandfather and is survived by his daughters, Larisa Liles Pearce & Tracy Liles Gaspard, and their mother, Andrea Brewer Atchison; Grand Daughters, Madison Elleese Hartley, Morgan Alexandra Gaspard, Mason Elizabeth Pearce; Great Grandchildren, Kaison Alexander Simon, Kinsley Olivia Hartley; Brother, Dr. Samuel Lee Liles; Niece, Marla Liles Mayberry, and many other loved ones and friends.
Mr. Liles is preceded in death by his identical twin brother, John Nathaniel Liles, as well as his parents James Delbert Liles and Grace Burrow Liles.
