On April 29, 1939, Carolyn married Robert Grant Burnham, who preceded her in death September 25, 1966. She loved to dance and go to movies. She was a wonderful cook, played bridge, and was an excellent homemaker and Mother to her three children. She loved spending time with her family. She was also very active in her church, the Town and Country Presbyterian Church. She and her husband owned The Burnham Jewelry Store, The Empire and Burnham Drug Stores for many years. Carolyn worked in the jewelry store when she was needed, especially during the holidays.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her stepfather, William J. Lochemes, her brother, George Bancroft, sister, Winifred Brewer, brothers-in-law: Robert F. Brewer, John Burnham and Richard Burnham; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth and Joan Burnham and Inez Bancroft; daughter-in-law, Carol Burnham, and great grandson,+ Mathew Christian Weborg.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Schmitt Woodland Hills Retirement Community Chapel, 1400 West Seminary, Richland Center, WI 53581.
