Ken was born in Arkansas and lived most of his life in Solano County. He worked for the City of Fairfield in the early 1960s as a heavy equipment operator and in the late 1970s as a maintenance shop clerk. An accident in 1970 left Ken as a quadraplegic. He drove his wheelchair at top speed at all times, leaving havoc in his wake. He loved to water, garden, raise roses, drive his van and collect tools.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathleen, and his children, Andy, David, Jennifer Hines (Frank) and Caitlin. He has grandchildren, Misty Hines (Eugene), Matthew and James. Great grandsons, Devon and Isaac Hines. He also leaves his brother, Ray Bain (Sandy) and sisters, Lillian Baggett and Ilene Oemig. He has numerous nieces and nephews and their children and their children. He also has his beloved Aunt Fredale.

In death he joined his parents, Bud and Ivy; granddaughter, Sharonna; nieces, Lisa and Elese Baggett and their dad Earl. He is also joined by too many of his aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no services. Memorial contributions can be sent to the Christian Church of Vacaville or Vaca Fish.
