He was a 2002 graduate of Springport High School. A disabled veteran, Jim served four years in the United States Army with a 14 month deployment to Afghanistan. Jim will be remembered for his soft smile, kind heart and his love of family.
A loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kari Ann; grandparents, Ed & Marilyn Wolf and grandfather, James Ackerson.
Jim is survived by his loving children, Jedadiah and Olyvia of Albion, MI; mother, Julie Ackerson of Leslie, MI; father & step mother, Steve & Diane Wolf of Eaton Rapids, MI; brother, Gary (Edith) Wolf of Hernando, MS; sisters, Lindsay (Craig) Heintzelman of Eaton Rapids, MI, Amanda Wolf of Waterford, MI and Kimberly Shepherd of Jackson, MI; grandparents; Annie (Terry) Lowery of Ft. Wayne, IN; nephew and nieces, Michael, Rachel and McKayla. Also surviving are many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service was held, Friday, December 18, 2015, at the First Baptist Church, Leslie, MI with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Graveside services with military honors was later that afternoon in Springport Cemetery.
