Russian Actor. Kashintsev was a very prominent actor on film, television, and on the theatrical stage for over five decades. He started his career in film, but later branched out to television and on the theatrical stage with the Mayakovsky Theater. Kashintsev's film credits include "July Rain" (1967), "Oblaka" (1973), "Oblomov" (1980), "A Secret Walk in the Woods" (1985), "Hostages" (1991), "Law of Corruption" (2005). His television work included "Porazhenie", "Melochi zhizni", "Peterburgskie tayny", and "Schaste po retseptu". Kashintsev was a member of the Mayakovsky Theater troupe for over twenty years and gave readings of famous Russian authors at the Moscow State Philharmonic for which he was well known. He was given the title "People's Artist of Russia in 2003 and awarded the "Order of Friendship" in 2008.
