Ida May "Dolly" Croghan, 90, of Wahoo, NE, died on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Saunders Care Center in Wahoo. Her family will be conducting a celebration of life service privately.

Ida was born on November 26, 1925 in Louisville, KY to Albert and Ida Petersen. She was united in marriage to Bernard Croghan on June 7, 1958 in Pamona, CA. Following their marriage the couple lived in Victoria Park until finally settling in Mead, NE.

Ida was a full time mother of eight children and later worked for Werner Enterprises until she retired. She started groups that played bridge, dominos, and scrabble. She also was active in the Mead garden club. Ida enjoyed cooking, using the computer, and sewing her family clothes and pajamas. Above all Ida cherished her family and grandchildren and was loved by them.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Hannifin; and granddaughter, Marlo Hannifin.
