Jasen D. Adwell, 39 year old son of Gale and Joyce Adwell, passed away 9:21pm Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois from unknown causes.
He was born March 16, 1976 in Monmouth, Illinois.
Jasen is survived by his parents, Gale and Joyce Adwell of Abingdon; his sister, Kyla Jo (Tony) Andersen of Peoria; his grandmothers, Donnalee Adwell of Bremen, Alabama and Nora Harding of Cameron. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Herman Adwell and Everett Clyde Harding.
He grew up in Galesburg and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1994. He was a truck driver for FS Sunrise Ag and later for Manito Trucking. He was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed attending car shows, riding motorcycles, automotive television programs, target shooting, following the St. Louis Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts, having a home and land, and the mechanics of how anything worked. Jasen had a kind heart for family and friends always lending a helping hand.
