Larry A. Kretsch, age 53, a Chilton resident, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Indianapolis, IN.
Larry was born June 23, 1962 in Manitowoc, son of Betty (Gabsch) Kretsch and the late Edward Kretsch. Larry was a lifelong member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church where he received the Rite of Baptism and was confirmed. He was a 1980 graduate of Valders High School and graduated from the ACME School of Manitowoc and the LTC School of Machine & Tool Design. Larry currently was the owner of Lakeshore Tool Service, LLC in Chilton. He was a life long member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church of Manitowoc. Larry enjoyed playing billiards and was involved with the Cullen Racing Team of Chilton.
Survivors include his mother: Betty Kretsch, rural Manitowoc; one sister: Jacquelyn Machkovech, Appleton; three nephews: Douglas, Jacob and Philip Machkovech, Appleton; aunts and uncles include: Beatrice Dietrich-Pritzl (Cal Pritzl), Kiel; Imogene (Donald) Fictum, New Holstein; Allen Gabsch, Howards Grove; Julianne Luebke, Cleveland; Doris Mae (Dale) Sprenger, Howards Grove, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Edward G. Kretsch; his paternal grandparents: Dan & Olga Kretsch; maternal grandparents: Alfred & Norma Gabsch; one infant brother; two uncles: Norb Dietrich; David Luebke; one aunt: Katherine Gabsch.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. Rev.'s Robert Kujawski and Stephen Melso will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family.
