In memory of ALEXANDER ANDERSON, merchant and ship owner, Provost of Peterhead for 1857 to 1860, younger son of Alexander Anderson, surgeon R.N. who died 21st Oct 1863 age 72 also of
MARY SUTTER his wife who died 8th January 1849 aged 48; and of
ALEXANDER their second son who died at Littlehampton 26th Aug 1857 age 26;
JAMES their third son who died at San Francisco in Nov 1874 age 41
ROBERT their sixth son who died in Australia 24th July 1877 aged 37; and
GEORGE SKELTON their fifth son who died in Australia 19th Nov 1881 age 43
