The date of birth is provided by Dorothy Garven in her book Descendents of Nicolas De La Vergne of Dutchess County, New York published in 1997.
Anna was baptised at Christ Church in Poughkeepsie on September 29, 1782 along with her brothers George, John and Lewis.
Anna married Joshua Hallock at the Presbyterian Church of Pleasant Valley, Dutchess County, New York on November 20, 1797. She was married as Maria and is recorded in the Hallock Family Bible record as Maria.
She moved with her husband to Bath, Steuben, New York when her husband took over the De La Vergne family mill in Bath. The couple lived there the remainder of their lives.
Joshua Hallock died in May 18, 1852 and was buried in Grove Cemetery.
Anna Maria (Ann M.) died on November 10, 1857 at the home of her son-in-law, John M. Campbell according to her death notice in The Advocate. She was buried next to her husband in Grove Cemetery.
