FIFE, Elizabeth M., 94, of Apache Junction, Arizona died April 12, 2008 after a short illness. Daughter of Olin and Margaret Mark, she was born April 21, 1913. Very intelligent, she was the class valedictorian in both high school and graduation from Grove City College. Betty was married to the Rev. John Fife in 1937. They had two children, John and Nancy. Widowed in 1949, she taught Latin and French at Titusville High School until her retirement in 1978. She moved to Arizona in 1997 to rejoin her immediate family. Surviving are her children, John (Marianne) and Nancy (Tim, deceased); five grandchildren, John (Deanna), David (Jennifer), Laura (Devin), Erika (John) and Mark (Yvonne); and eight great-grandchildren, Sean, Haley, Trevor, Abbey, Carly, Elianna, Annabelle and Isabelle. Memorial gifts may be given to Southside Presbyterian Church, 317 W. 23rd St., Tucson, 85745, where a service of celebration of Betty's long life of faith and service in education will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 19, 2008.
