BAXLEY -- Calvin Stanley "Stan" Gibson, 36, died April 18 at University Hospital in Augusta.
He was a native of Jeff Davis County and resided in Baxley since 1991. He was a truck driver and had been employed with Commercial Carrier. He was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Ashley Marie Gibson of Lake Wells, Fla.; a son, Calvin R. Gibson of Baxley; his mother and stepfather, Hilda and David Waters of Baxley: his father and stepmother, Delmus and Mary Gibson of Dublin; a sister, Debra Gibbs of Baxley; his maternal grandparents, Brunell and Ralph Tanner of Baxley and Bea Day of Kathleen, Fla.; and his fiancee, Paula Thompson of Baxley.
VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. Thursday at David B. Miles Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at David E. Miles Funeral Home
His cremains was buried with his sister Debra Gibbs on February 10, 2018 at Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery .wheeler County Georgia
