Services for F. Paul Pentz, 79, of Grampian, who died Thursday, March 8 at Centre Community Hospital. State College, will be held Wednesday, March 14 at 11 a.m. from the Russell II. Lininger Funeral Home, Grampian. Rev Theodore Thompson and Rev. William Yates will officiate and interment will follow in Friends Cemetery, Grampian. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until the hour of service on Wednesday. Mr. Pentz was born Feb. 28. 1900 in Grampian, the son of Fred. M. and Arminta (Kester) Pentz. He was a member of the Grampian Church of God. Mr. Pentz is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Korman, and these children: Mrs. Olin (Ruth) McDevitt, Eldred; Mrs. Bruce (Mae) Radaker, Connellsville; Mrs. Glenn (Blanche) Piper, Rochester, N.Y.; Mrs. John (Dora) Shea, Luthersburg; Mrs. Verlon (Norma) Dial and George Pentz, both of Anderson, Ind. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Georgia Thompson of Green Bay, Ark. and Allen. Miss Sarah E., Lynn and Mrs. Lena Snyder, all of Grampian. He was preceded in death by his parents, three children, three grandchildren and two sisters.
