Son of William H. and Sarah Wells (or Walls?) Worsham. Husband of Amanda Melvina Tanner Worsham. CSA Veteran, enlisted as a Pvt. in Ga. Co. H. 60th Inf. Regt. He became a prisoner of war at Monocacy, Md., and was later sent to Point Lookout. He was the father of William Henry, Rose Clemmie, George Leonard W., and Lewis Henry Worsham, as far as known.
