John Collins, Denmark, Dies in Hospital Today

DENMARK, Wis. – John Collins, 66, Denmark, route 2, farmer, died early this morning in a Green Bay hospital after a long illness.

He is survived by his widow, the former Edelia Eisenman, whom he married on Dec. 4, 1917; two sons, James, Denmark, route 2, and Orville, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Flamang, Appleton, and Mrs. John Logan, Chicago; one brother, Michael, Minneapolis, Minn., and three grandchildren.

The body is at the Knutson Funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Set Tuesday Rites For John Collins

DENMARK, Wis. – Funeral services for John Collins, 66, route 2, who died early Saturday morning in a Green Bay hospital, will be held at Zion Evangelical and United Brethren church at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.

The body will lie in state at the Knutson Funeral home until Tuesday morning, when it will be taken to the church. The Rev. B. A. Zimdars will officiate at the final rites and burial will be in the East Cooperstown cemetery.

FUNERAL RITE HELD

Denmark – Quite a number of people from here attended the funeral of John Collins, Rt. 2, Denmark, which took place Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical United Bretheren Church with the Rev. B. A. Zimdars officiating. Burial was in the East Cooperstown cemetery.

Mr. Collins had lived in this vicinity his entire life, having been born in the town of New Denmark in 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Collins. He was married in 1917 to the former Odelia Eisenmann, who survives.

Two sons, James of Rt. 2, Denmark, and Orville, who resides at home, also survive as do two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Flammang of Appleton and Mrs. John Logan of Chicago, and a brother, Michael, in Minneapolis. There are also three grandchildren.
