Mrs. James (LaVerne) Collins, 61, of Route 1, Denmark, died Wednesday evening, March 10, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church, Denmark.
The Rev. Roland Helgerson will officiate and burial will be in East Cooperstown Cemetery.

Mrs. Collins, nee LaVerne DuQuaine, was born Nov. 11, 1930, in the Town of Bellevue, daughter of the late Peter and Dora Kummers DuQuaine. She was married to James Collins May 27, 1944, at Green Bay. She was a grade school teacher at Denmark for 35 years. Mrs. Collins was secretary of American Legion Auxiliary and a member of in United Methodist Church, Denmark.

Survivors include her husband, James; four sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Sharon of Route 2, Denmark, William and LuAnn of Route 1, Maribel, Corry and Lori of Green Bay, and Scott of Denmark; a daughter-in-law, Diane Scray; two brothers, Reginald of Bellevue and Harold of Green Bay; and three sisters, Mrs. Geneva Tonnon of Green Bay, Mrs. Henry (Lillian) Buyarsal of the Town of Eaton, and Mrs. Urban (Bernice) Heim of the Town of Bellevue. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom; three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Hattie) Menne, Mrs. Wilfred (Josephine) Gonion, and Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Lytle; and a brother, Irvin DuQuaine.

Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 p.m. Sunday and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. An American legion Auxiliary service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Eight surviving grandchildren were not included Friday in the death notice for Mrs. James (LaVerne) Collins, 61, Rt. 1, Denmark. Mrs. Collins died Wednesday evening in a Green Bay hospital.

Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church, Denmark. American Legion Auxiliary service 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Ronald Helgerson officiating. Burial in East Cooperstown Cemetery.
