Edgar Dahlke

Edgar Dahlke, 57, Denmark, died Thursday morning at an out-of-town hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1918 in the Town of Montpelier, Kewaunee County and was the son of Louisa Borchardt Dahlke and the late Walter Dahlke. Mr. Dahlke served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He married Vivian Hansen April 24, 1942 in the Town of New Denmark.

Survivors are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Garland (Judith) Powell, Olathe, Kan.; Hazel and Nona, both of Green Bay; and Mrs. Kenneth (Gail) Wanek, Rochester, N.Y.; one son, Ross, at home; his mother, Louisa Dahlke, Rt. 1, Luxemburg; two brothers, Gerhardt, Rt. 1, Luxemburg; and Elden, Green Bay; two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 p.m. Saturday. Funeral 1 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home, the Rev. Frank Tobisch officiating. Burial in East Cooperstown Cemetery.
