Shumate - Died at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, July 21, 1908 at the family residence in Riverton, Mrs. Louisa Shumate, wife of Herman H. Shumate, aged 58 years, 1 month and 13 days.
Deceased was born June 8, 1850.
She was united in marriage to Herman H. Shumate on November 19, 1874.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Herman Shumate, Jr., both of Riverton; her mother, Mrs. Mary Drennan; and one brother, A.J. Drennan, both of Curran.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from the late family residence at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock from the Riverton M.E. church, the Rev. W.H. Henry of Pawnee, officiating, assisted by the Rev. H.H. Young of Riverton, pastor of the M.E. church.
The interment will be made in Mechanicsburg cemetery.
