Anton Hettich, 91, former Denmark resident, died Wednesday at a local nursing home. He was born May 31, 1888 in the Town of New Denmark to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hettich.
Mr. Hettich was a member of the Denmark V.F.W. Post No. 6705. No Nov. 5, 1919, he married the former Olga Hendricksen in Marinette. She preceded him in death Aug. 17, 1970.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Harry (June) Nabielski, Green Bay; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
One son, Lorn, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 4 p.m. Thursday. V.F.W. memorial service 8 p.m. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Zion United Methodist Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Bernard Setterlund officiating. Burial in East Cooperstown Cemetery with V.F.W. military graveside services.
