Dale D. Larson, 53, of 345 Lee St., Denmark, died Thursday, May 31, 1990. He was born March 24, 1937 in Buffalo Center, Iowa to the late Swen and Elsie (DeVries) Larson. He married the former Mary Jeffs on June 18, 1960.

He was president and general manager of Denmark Farm Equipment from 1969 until 1985. He was then associated with Insurance Marketing Concepts II for two years and the past three years he was employed at the Valley Bank. He was honored as Denmark's Citizen of the Year in 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jeffrey Gress, Waupaca; one son, Michael Larson, Menasha; one brother, Bradley Larson, Minneapolis, Minnesota and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by a twin sister.

Funeral services were Monday at the Zion United Methodist Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Ron Helgerson officiating, burial was in the East Cooperstown Cemetery.

He is a past president of the Denmark Lions Club and Denmark Business Association, he was actively involved in the Zion United Methodist Church in Denmark, was a past director of Valley Badger Bank, and was president of the Farm Parts Depot at Chilton, Wisconsin. He was honored as Denmark's Citizen of the Year in 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jeffrey Gress, Waupaca; one son Michael, Menasha; one brother, Bradley Larson, Minneapolis, Minn.; and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by a twin sister.

Friends may call at the Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the Zion United Methodist Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Ron Helgerson officiating. Burial in the East Cooperstown Cemetery.
