John H. Plantiko, 83, of Rt. 1, Denmark, died Sunday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Knutson funeral Home, Denmark, with the Rev. B. A. Zimdars officiating. Burial will be in East Cooperstown cemetery.

He was born Dec. 25, 1880, at Cooperstown, son of the late Carl and Wilhelmina Plantiko. He spent most of his life in the Denmark area and was night watchman at two Denmark firms before his retirement in 1945.

Among survivors are two daughters, Miss Ruby of Green Bay and Mrs. Erwin Miller of Two Rivers; two brothers, Charles of Denmark and George of Abbottsford; a sister, Mrs. Dave Enz of Green Bay; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
