Elizabeth B. "Bea" Sidwell

Elizabeth B. "Bea" Sidwell, 78, E355 Langes Corners Road, Town of Franklin, died Wednesday morning, July 2, 1997, at a Green Bay Hospital. The daughter of the late Orren and Maratha {sic} (White) Ammons was born on Sept. 9, 1918 in Nacogdoches, Texas, where she was a graduate of Nacogdoches High School in the class of 1933. She has been an area resident since 1955. The former Elizabeth B. Ammons and Bert M. Sidwell were married on Sept. 18, 1937 in Nacogdoches, Texas and the couple celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary this month before Bert's death. He preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1995. Bea was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Denmark. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting, and playing cards.

Survivors include her children, Milo and Clare Sidwell; Sharon Sidwell and her husband Phil Van Veghel; seven grandchildren, Allan Sidwell, Scott and Dawn Sidwell, Suzanne Sidwell, Lori Sidwell, Gina Phillips, Michelle Revord, Randy mott; his special friend, Jan Butler; six great-grandchildren, Amber and Alex Boyer, Danielle Revord, Cassandra, Nicholas, and Samantha Phillips; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Bert; her parents; four brothers; four sisters.

Friends may call at Zion United Methodist Church, Denmark after 9 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Marianne Cotter officiating. Burial in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
