STURGEON BAY – Gilbert A. Sunstrom, 79, Sturgeon Bay, Rt. 6, died Monday morning at Algoma Memorial Hospital from complications. The son of the late Otto and Caroline Sunstrom was born Aug. 26, 1884 in Daggett, Mich.; resided in the Maplewood area since 1935, and farmed until his retirement.
Survivors are his wife, the former Emma Schultz, whom he married in 1916; one son, Curtis, Maplewood; one daughter, Mrs. peter (Sylvia) Cihlar, Jackson; five grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Alma Doran, Foster City, Mich.
At Davis Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay, until 9 a.m. Wednesday and then at Bay View Lutheran Church. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the church, the Rev. Myron Medin officiating. Burial in East Cooperstown Cemetery.
