Born March 23, 1926 in Athens, WI, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Rein Junk. She attended Red Arrow Grade School in Hika.
On October 14, 9144 she was united in marriage to Melvin Arends, and the couple resided in Hika. Melvin passed away on July 14, 1951.
On August 13, 1955 Mabel was united in marriage to Wenzel Tienor at St. Wendel Catholic Church in Cleveland. The couple resided in Hika.
Mabel worked for Mirro Aluminum in Manitowoc. She loved to cook and play cards with family and friends.
Mabel was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in School Hill.
Mabel is survived by her husband, Wenzel of Cleveland; one son, Gene (Linda)Arends of Plymouth; one grandson, Gregg Arends of California; one step-grandson, Shawn DeTroye of Minnesota; one step-granddaughter, Kristin (Don) Shepherd of Elkhart Lake; three step-great-grandchildren, Kyra, Jaden, and Alaina Shepherd of Elkhart Lake.
Preceding her in death are her brother, Francis Junk; three sisters, Norma Klein, Gertrude Grohskopf, and Sister M. Eudelma (Dorothy) Junk; and one grandson, Douglas Arends.
A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in School Hill. Rev. Father Mike Bigley will be Celebrant of the Mass.
