Magdalena Schneider, age 96, formerly of 1725 N. 13th St., Sheboygan, and a resident of Sunny Ridge, for the past 6 months, died Friday evening June 11, 1993.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, June 15, 1993, at St Wendel Catholic Church, Cleveland. The Rev. Father Gilbert Jacobs will be celebrant of the Mass of Christian Burial with burial will be in St. George Cemetery, Cleveland, Wednesday morning 11 a.m.
She was born September 30, 1896, a daughter of Wilhelmina Levandosky and Frank Schneider. She attended St. Wendel Catholic School in Cleveland. Prior to her marriage she as employed at the H.C. Prange Co. On July 21, 1920, she was united in marriage to William Schneider. The couple resided in the Town of Centerville, here they were engaged in farming. He preceded her in death in 1942. She remained on the farm until moving to Sheboygan in 1866. She was a member of St. Wendel Catholic Church, Cleveland, and its Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond (Lucella) Schneider, Howards Grove, Eugene (Lorraine) Schneider, Fond du Lac; one daughter and son-in-law, Caroline (Ray) Scharenbroch, Kiel, one sister-in-law, Lidwina Schneider, New Holstein; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death ere one daughter, to brothers, three sisters.
Friends may call at St. Wendel Catholic Church from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the hour of service. A parish prayer service will be held Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established for St. Wendel Catholic Church in Magdalena Schneider’s name.
The Stoltenberg Funeral Chapels, Cleveland, are assisting the family with arrangements.
