Joseph P. Seipel

Joseph P. Seipel, 62, of Route 1, Sheboygan, died Monday at his home after an apparent stroke.

Born July 12, 1918, at Mellen, he was a son of Joseph and Caroline Blascko Siepel {sic?}. He attended Holy Name Grade School in Sheboygan.

On Dec. 6, 1941, he married Lillian C. Scheffler.

Mr. Seipel was a plumber for R. P. Jost Co. of Cleveland. He retired in July 1980.

He was a member of St. Wendel's Catholic Church in Cleveland.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Larry J. of Escanaba, Mich.; three daughters, Judith Ann Seipel of Milwaukee, Mrs. Paul (Patricia) Wick of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Richard (Susan) Getubig) of rural Sheboygan; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond of Sheboygan.

A brother preceded him in death.

The funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Wendel Church in Cleveland. The Rev. Bernard Geimer, pastor, will be celebrant. Brief rites will precede at 10 a.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Burial will be in St. Johannes Cemetery at Cleveland.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. A parish vigil will be held at 8 p.m.
