Kenneth H. Ashman of Nortontown Road, Madison, formerly of Guilford, died on October 31 at the Veterans Hospital in West Haven. Born in Guilford March 23, 1907 he was the son of Herbert A. Ashman and Carrie Ross Ashman.

He attended the Guilford public school and was graduated from Guilford HIgh School. He worked as a bus driver for the New Haven & Shore Line Railway Co.; was employed for a time at the Guilford Finishing Co; and more recently was engaged in lobstering and oystering. During World War II he was a mechanic with the U. S. Army Air Force.

Mr. Ashman is survived by his wife Bernice Henneberg Ashman; a sister, Mrs. Fred Blaha of Guilford; and two bothers, Robert Ashman of North Guilford and Elmore Ashman of Walpole, Mass.

Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday afternoon at the Leete Funeral Home by the Rev. William V. North of the First Congregational Church. burial was in Alderbrook Cemetery.
