Nettie Mae Simpson, 93, of Canton passed away at 10:40 am Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton. She was born on August 15, 1922 in Canton to Vernon and Gertie Games. She married Newt Simpson in 1954 in Fowler, MO. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2007. Also preceding her were her parents, son Terry Cannon, and 3 grandchildren. Surviving is 3 children; Mary Rose Cumpston of Canton, Stella Menne of Pekin, and Larry (Becky) Simpson of Lewistown, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Nettie was owner/operator of Arrowhead Café in rural Lewistown for 30 years.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Waterford Cemetery in rural Lewistown. The Rev. Brian Ebert will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 am Saturday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton. Memorials can be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
