Alice "Gerri" Watts Chappel - 62 a resident of Mobile died Saturday, November 18, 2000, at the family residence. She began a nursing career in Jackson, Michigan continuing in Mobile and West Palm Beach until her medical retirement in 1993. She si preceded in death by her mother and father Naomi Hough and Francis D. Watts, Sr: two sisters, Maxine Finley and Anna Jeanne Watts. She is survived by her husband, Dale F. Chappel; two sons, Dale F. Chappel Jr and Dennis F. Chappel; Two daughters Brenda Sue Chappel and Rebecca Hester; one brother Frances D. Watts Jr and nine grandchildren. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Magnolia Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 22, 200 at 6 pm, Visitation will be from 5-6 pm. Funeral arrangements are by Magnolia Funeral Home 5817 Grelot Road, Mobile, AL 36609
