Amelia "Ami" R. Albanese, 83, of Center Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 30, 1932 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late John and Frances (Busciglio) Caruso and she was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church where she was also a member of the church choir. Amelia was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns and she will always be remembered for her baking, especially her brownies and banana bread.

In addition to her parents, Amelia was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Mario Albanese and a sister, Ann Haynes.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie King and her husband William, Center Twp.; three sons, Santi Albanese and his wife Angela, New Castle; Michael Albanese, and Joseph Albanese and his wife Barbara, Lansdale, PA, and seven grandchildren, William, Stephen, and Michael King, and Gina, Mia Rose, Nicholas, and Patrick Albanese.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the DARROCH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneraihome.com. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. (Everyone please meet at the church).

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale Street, Memphis, TN 38105.

A Parish Vigil Service will be held on Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
