Mr. Charles Hagenow, 81, of 1606 Grand Ave., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 23, at Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc, where he resided for the past year.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Melnik Presbyterian Church, Town of Gibson. The Rev. James L. Thomson will officiate and burial will be in Melnik Presbyterian Cemetery.

Mr. Hagenow was born June 8, 1902, in Manitowoc Co., son of the late Henry and Emma Robinson Hagenow. He married Laura M. Bouda, June 23, 1925, in Manitowoc. The couple resided here all their lives. Mr. Hagenow was employed by Lakeside Packing Company for many years until his retirement. He was a member of Manitowoc Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife, Laura; a son, Harold of Manitowoc; two brothers, Otto and Edward Hagenow of rural Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Mayme Kouba, Mrs. Lillian Wasurick, and Mrs. Ida Mott, all of rual {sic rural} Two Rivers; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Orville.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
