Many from here attended the funeral of the late Joseph Havlichek (sic); who died Saturday at the late home about two miles southeast of Melnik, after a long illness. Interment was at the local Presbyterian cemetery Tuesday. Mr. Havlicek is survived by a wife and family of children, who have the sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement.
