Mrs. Elizabeth Hypsa, 83, a former resident of the Town of Gibson, died Sunday at the home of her son, John, at Omaha, Neb., according to word received by relatives here.
Mrs. Hypsa was a native of Bohemia and came to the United states with her parents. The family settled in Gibson where Mrs. Hypsa made her home for many years. Her husband, John Hypsa, died about 20 years ago and is buried in the Melnik cemetery.
The body will arrive from Omaha Wednesday and will be taken to the Melnik Presbyterian church where it will lie in state until the hour of the funeral. The Rev. Frank Junek will conduct funeral services Thursday morning at 10 o'clock with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
