"Lottie" Kittell, 82, Maribel passed away peacefully at a Manitowoc hospital.
She was born on June 30, 1918 in the Town of Gibson to Louis and Tillie (Salta) Rezek. She married Russell Kittell on November 21, 1941 in Melnik, Wisconsin. Together they farmed in the Maribel area until retirement. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Russell; 4 sons, Russell (Judy) Kittell and their children Katherine (Richard) Kittell, Mary (Steve) Krish, Lisa (Herbert) Barnard, Michael Kittell and fiancé Carrie Kroll, Matthew Kittell, and Sara Kittell; son Roger (Carol) Kittell and their children Rick Kittell, and Cheryl (Cory) Suchocki; son Merlin Kittell and his daughter Krystel Kittell; son John (Vicki) Kittell and their children Jason Kittell and fiancé Sheila Krejcarek, and Robin Kittell and special friend Scott Morrison; 6 great-grandchildren; Zachary, Ashley and Broch Kittell, Keith and Nicole Kirsh, and Hunter Kittell; 1 brother, Victor Rezek and 2 sister-in-laws Verna Rezek, and Muriel Kittell; 2 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law Betty (Martin) Wotruba, and Irene (Emil) Kunstman. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Roy and Harvey Rezek, and sister-in-law Lucille Rezek.
Friends and family may call on Friday April 6, 2001 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Knutson/Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County R. Denmark. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 7, 2001 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Melnik Presbyterian Church. Funeral services Saturday, April 7, 2001, 10:30 a.m. at the church, with Reverend Karen M. Doty officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
