Konieczny, LaVerne
LaVerne Konieczny, age 75, of 15811 Kruger Rd., Mishicot, entered into eternal life on Friday, October 4, 2013 at her residence. LaVerne was born March 27, 1938 in Manitowoc to the late Hugo and Helen Graycarek Rezek and has been a lifelong area resident. She married Alex Konieczny on May 11, 1968 in Tisch Mills. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2009. She was a member of the Melnik Presbyterian Church, and is survived by one brother: Robert Rezek, of Mishicot, two sisters: Audrey Johanek, of Zander, Susan (Thomas) Wagner, of Manitowoc, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gertrude and Willard Bunton, Ruth and Lawrence Willy, all of Indiana, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother: Lester Rezek.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot, with Elder Warren Kraft officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will take place in the Melnik Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
LaVerne is living her dream in Heaven, and her dream was to be with her husband in Heaven and have the two little girls they wanted, but could not have them here on earth.
