DEATH CLAIMS MELNIK WOMAN
Mrs. Anton Rezek Succumbs of Sudden Heart Attack
Mrs. Anton Rezek, 63, of Melnik, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Hynek,, Melnik, at 8 o'clock Saturday evening. Her death was attributed to a heart attack and was entirely unexpected, as the woman appeared to be in perfect health. She had been visiting at her daughter's home for only a few minutes when the attack came on.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian church in Melnik, The Rev Frank Junek officiating. Burial will be in the Melnik cemetery
Mrs. Frank was born in Bohemia in October, 1870. She came to this country with her aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs. Joseph Forst, and settled on a farm in Gibson. In 1889 she was married to Anton Rezek who preceded her in death two years.
The deceased is survived by five sons, Anton, Leo and Raymond at home, and Louis and Hugo of Zanders; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Pavlichek of Bryant, Mrs. Joseph Hunek of Melnik, and Rose and Emma at home' a sister, Mrs. John Drahonovsky of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
The body was removed to the home this afternoon.
