Shirley Mae Gander, 86 of Rockton, IL died at 7:24 pm Saturday December 19, 2015 in Sun Valley East in Beloit, WI.
She was born March 22, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Ethell (Neville) Rand. She married Dale Gander in Gays Mills, Wisconsin on January 4, 1947. She worked as a waitress at Hotel Hilton and did small parts assembly at Regal Beloit. She is member of South Beloit American Legion Post #288 Gold Star Sister and helped with the Friday night fish fry, Tuesday morning Macktown Golf League.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday December 23, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, IL with Chaplin Mark Maxted officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Garden.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 am until time of ceremony Wednesday.
