TOWN'S OLDEST SETTLER DEAD
Mrs. Fred Jonas Had Lived in One House 57 years
In the home which she had occupied for fifty-seven consecutive years, death came to Mrs. Fred Jonas, Mishicot's oldest settler, Friday, Mrs. Jonas's demise being due to infirmities of advanced age. Mrs. Jonas was 86 years old and had resided at Mishicot since 1853. With her husband, Mrs. Jonas in 1853 located on a farm on the site of what is now Mishicot and the property has been in possession of the family ever since. Mrs. Jonas made her home with her son, Fred Jr., after the death of her husband years ago. Three children survive, one son at Tacoma and a daughter at Tacoma and a daughter st Kewaunee. The funeral will be held from the home at Mishicot Sunday.
