JEFFERSON - Wanda M. Brody, 89, of Jefferson, formerly of Union Grove, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Countryside Home in Jefferson.
She was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 10, 1916, daughter of Andrew and Mary (Gurdik) Chmiel.
Wanda was a homemaker and a member of St. Robert Bellamine Catholic Church in Union Grove. She enjoyed gardening, canning and caring for her family.
Survivors include daughters, Diane Hudzinski of Littleton, Colo., and Sandra (Richard) Wenzlick of Johnson Creek; a son, Frank (Margaret) Brody Jr. of Watertown; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Villwock of Franksville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Brody; five brothers; and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Robert Bellamine Catholic Church in Union Grove with the Rev. Howard Haase officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poinasek-Daniels Funeral Home in Union Grove.
