Died this morning about 2 o'clock at Annapolis Henry McElfresh Esquire one of the Delegates from this County. (Elected at a Special Election February 4, 1852). He was the grandson of the lateFrancis Mantz & the son of the late Colonel John H. McElfresh. He died worth about one hundred & thirty thousand dollars ($130,000). His younger brother Caspar Mantz McElfresh died just 3 months ago (on 25 of
December 1851) by which he fell heir to 30 or $40,000.
He was a bachelor & leaves two sisters, Mrs. Jacob M. Kunkel & Mrs. Charles E. Trail.
His age was 26 years.
