Born in Middletown, a daughter of the late Joseph and Domicella (Staniszewski) Kulmacz, she had resided in East Hartford for over 50 years. She was a long time member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Besides her beloved husband of 58 years, Mrs. Cogswell is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Joanne Cogswell of Colchester; a daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Michael Lichatz of Vernon; a brother, Alphonse Kulmacz of Middletown; two sisters, Camille Doran of West Hartford, Alfreda Corliss of Middle-town; five grandchildren, Paul Cogswell, Julie Cogswell, Amy Page, Jodie and Tracy Lichatz; and a great grandson, Matthew Cogswell.
Funeral service will be Saturday (March 20, 1999) at 9 a.m. from the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1155 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, 06109.
