Carolyn Gayden Blatt passed away at Roper Hospital in Charleston,
South Carolina on August 19, 2004.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Sol Blatt, Jr. of
Charleston; her son Gregory G. Blatt of Hilton Head Island, SC; and
his two daughters, Molly and Hannah; her daughter, Sheryl B. Hooper
and her husband Tee Hooper of Greenville, SC, and their two children,
Travis and Amy; her son, Brian L. Blatt and his wife, Martha of
Columbia, SC and their son, Lee; and her sister, Dotty Gayden Miller
of Pittsburg, Kansas. A grave-side family service will be held in
Barnwell on August 21, 2004. The family will be at the home of Brian
Blatt, 701 Sweetbriar Road, Columbia, SC from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on
Saturday, August 21. Carolyn's wish was that the friends of the
family lend their support to her family members at their homes in the
coming days. In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to donate in her
memory to The Church of the Holy Apostles, P.O. Box 207, Barnwell, SC
