Mrs. Frank Marek, nee Helen Znamenacek, 82, died yesterday at the home of her daughter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, with Frank Cherny officiating. Burial will be in the Kossuth National cemetery.
Mrs. Marek was born in Cooperstown in 1866 and in 1885 was married to Frank Marek. They lived on a farm in Cooperstown. He died 27 years ago and Mrs. Marek came to live with her daughter two years ago.
Survivors are a son, a daughter, seven grandchildren and 11 great grand-children.
