Maureen T. Shebesta, age 55, of 1301 Hillcrest Drive, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at her home with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 26, 1960 in Manitowoc, daughter of Dorothy (Schlais) Crechard and the late Francis J. Crechard. Maureen was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1978. On September 15, 1998 she married Keith Shebesta. Maureen was employed as a bar manager at The Manitowoc Yacht Club for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Manitowoc Yacht Club Women's Auxiliary.Survivors include her husband: Keith Shebesta; her mother: Dorothy Crechard; one son: Zachary Burish & his special friend Jennifer Clements; one daughter and son-in-law: Amber & Jeremiah Brault; a step daughter: Gina Wotruba & her husband Matt; a step son: Joe Shebesta & his special friend Rachel Reimer, all of Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Breckin, Griffin and Chloe; one sister and brother-in-law: Margaret & Jim Bethke, Kaukauna; her mother-in-law: Shirley Kent & her husband Herb, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Lynn Gaus & her husband John, DePere; and two nieces: Vanessa Crechard and Monica Skinner & her husband Robin and their three children. Also surviving are special friends: Ron & Lisa Schmidt, along with other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Francis J. Crechard; one brother: Michael Crechard and a sister: Monica A. Shaw.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Dave Pleier.
