Marlyn was born to Peter and Francis DeNeff on February 28, 1925.
She spent her life teaching Sunday school. She and her husband of 43 years, Julius, started the Lindsley Sunday School, in Cheshire Township, and taught there for several years. Marlyn worked in the Community Ed Nursery for 12 years. She loved her family and was a true prayer warrior.
Marlyn was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Kleis, in 1983; brothers, Stanley, Ivan, and Harris; sisters, Nora, Lois, and Jane; brothers in law, Sanders and Harold; sister in law, Arloa; and her special friend Howard Zuber.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, brother in law, sister in law, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, December 28, 2015, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, in Holland, MI with Pastor Jack Lynn officiating. Burial will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m., Monday December 28, 2015, at Lakeshore Memorial Services.
