Son of William Taylor Adair and his wife the former Nancy Elizabeth Shepherd.

Born 7 May 1883 in Mendon township, Illinois.

Beginning in about 1949 made his home residing with his sister Mrs. Nellie Barton in Lima, Illinois.

Passed away 31 October 1954 at a Quincy, Illinois nursing home.

Surviving to mourn, in addition to his sister Nellie Barton, were his children: James Adair, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson and Mrs. Leon Dodson.
