Gottlieb married Dorothea FRIEDRICH on the 4th of December 1847 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. The couple was blessed with 3 sons; Johann, Gottlieb and Jakob. Dorothea ANHORN died in September 1854 at Alt Posttal.
Gottlieb married Barbara FRIEDRICH on the 26th of November 1854 at Tarutino. This union was blessed with 10 children; Friedrich, Christian, Christian, Gottfried, Christina, Joseph, Katharina, Gottlieb, Katharina and Paulina.
Gottlieb at age 54, died in June 1882 at Alt Posttal.
