When I lost someone I loved,

it seems that time stood still ~

What moved through me was a silence

a quiet sadness,

a longing for one more day,

one more word,

one more touch ~

I may not understand why you left this earth so soon,

or why you left before I was ready to say good-bye,

but little by little, ~

I began to remember not just that you died,

but that you lived and that your life gave me memories~~

too beautiful to forget ~

I will see you again some day,

in a heavenly place where there is no parting~

A place where there are no words that mean good-bye."

God gave me you~ ~ for a while ~ I Love you Millard ~

The morning light was soft and low

The clouds had left an early snow

A peaceful sound was calling low

"It's time to go"

Then God reached out His tender hand

And gently pulled him home with Him

And brushed away the sorrow

from his soul within

And I could hear the roses sing

A bluebird softly claps its wings

The sun seemed brighter than it's ever been

And now he's dancing in the wind ~

On December 16, 2015, my precious husband opened his eyes and awoke in heaven ~ but he will remain in my ♥ forever~ ~

Someone remembers, someone cares ~

Your name is whispered in my prayers ~

Love ~

I do not pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you ~

~♥~♥~You will forever be my always~♥~♥~

Millard moved to Hemphill from Jasper when he was very young. He graduated from Hemphill High School in 1947. He attended SFA in Nacogdoches for a year, worked in south Texas, worked for Hemphill Motor Company and Starr Funeral Home. He lived in the Golden triangle, owned and operated a station, coming back to Hemphill when his Daddy passed away. He owned and operated Jordan's Auto, Jordan's Quarter Horses, raised cattle and was Constable of Sabine County Precinct 1 for approximately 30 years. After retirement, he kept a few cows for enjoyment because he loved animals and enjoyed staying active. He sold them exactly one month to the day before he died ~ I will love and miss my loving husband forever

~♥~♥~ God gave me you and tho we're apart~~

You are loved beyond words,

Missed beyond measure.

I miss your smell

I miss your hugs

I miss how you made me feel.

Just as the leaves will turn in the autumn and snow will fall in winter, my love for Millard will be eternal.

Millard played the piano by ear, as did hid daddy and brother. He loved going to Branson and all the shows, especially The Mickey Gilley Show~~

Someday we will be together once again and forever~~

I was truly blessed to be a part of your life. I love you and will see you soon through the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you ~ loved you so-'Twas Heaven here with you.

His legacy of love will remain with me forever. ~

Rest in paradise sweetheart!

The song is ended, but the melody lingers on ~ ~ Irving Berlin.
