Ruth Ann Abbott, age 65, of St. Louis, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013, with her family by her side. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Memorial Service held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the St. Louis Church of Christ on M-46. Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Ruth Ann was born February 21, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant to Donald and Marie (Conroy) Huber. She married Kenneth Abbott November 27, 1964. Ruth's hobbies include playing Bingo, reading, puzzles, cards, painting ceramics, and spending time with her family.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Kennth; and seven children, Kenneth (Rosemary) Abbott of St. Louis; Christine (Timothy) Heckard of Weidman; Ronlad Abbott of St. Louis; William (Kelly) Abbott of Rx Freeland; Timothy (Angel) Abbott of Alma; Julie (John) Schutt of Mt. Pleasant; Brad (Aimee) Abbott of Mt. Pleasant; along with 26 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
Ruth is also survived by three sisters, Rita (Carl) Eisenberger of Shepherd; Esther (John) Haupt of Mt. Pleasant; and Patricia (John) McHugh of Florida; and three brothers, Jerry (Dorothy) Huber and Jim (Nonie) Huber; and Bob (Gail) Huber, all of Shepherd; and her brother-in-law, Larry Bullard of Shepherd; Donald (Cathy) Abbott of Farwell and Church (Karen) Abbott of Shepherd; a sister-in-law, Beverly Smith of Port Huron.
Preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Ed Huber and Ken Huber; and a sister, Donna Bullard.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be given to the family, envelopes will be available at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Berry Funeral Home, in Shepherd.
